What is the energy code?
In 2016 the Alberta government implemented strict new requirements for new buildings. We have a vast knowledge of these requirements and will provide all compliant energy code drawings and information that is needed for all municipalities in Alberta as well other provinces.
What documents, plans & permits are required?
Every district has different permit requirements depending on the project applied for.
Before beginning any project, we will review the permit requirements and relevant information that may be needed or come up throughout the process.
When & how can I make changes?
Changes are welcome during the design process. We give our clients several opportunities to make changes before the final review and sign off.
However; once a development permit has been issued, exterior changes, are not recommended as they can result in additional design time and service fees in order to update the approved drawings.

Do you offer project management services?
At this time we do not offer project management services. However; we can recommend companies to assist with your project.
Do you offer rendering services?
Yes. We can provide basic 3D perspective drawings up to photo realistic renderings. We can also provide access to a 3D model to view your house from all angles, inside and out!
Is a down payment required?
No. A payment schedule will be discussed during initial consultations and outlined in the following documentation.

When is payment required?
Payment is due 30 days from the date of invoice. Prompt payment is appreciated.
What is the client responsible for?
Clients are responsible for all fees incurred. Such as permit fees & additional third party fees. (Including: surveys, engineering and design).
Who submits the drawings & permits?
We have years of experience submitting development & building permit applications.
However; clients may select to complete applications personally.
We are happy to provide a smoother process by completing submissions on your behalf as outlined in our General Contract Agreement.
